The feedback from delegates across all regions was extremely positive. The combination of live interaction, regional relevance, and on-demand access created an effective and seamless global learning experience.

  • Global hybrid broadcast
  • 4,700+ online delegates
  • 150+ breakout sessions
  • Consistent internal training delivered
  • Multi-region planning + coordination
  • Employee engagement

The Challenge

Siemens Digital Industries needed to deliver a large-scale internal hybrid training and communications programme that could engage employees across EMEA, the Americas, APAC, and GDN, while maintaining consistency and operational efficiency.

Delivered across two phases in April and May 2026, the CCSC event series combined live studio broadcasts, executive plenary sessions, in-person experiences, breakout training, and on-demand learning content. Phase one broadcast live from Rotterdam to more than 1,700 virtual delegates alongside 50 in-person attendees, while phase two focused on APAC and Siemens GDN audiences of over 3,000 delegates, through our dedicated UK studio.

The programme involved significant operational and technical complexity, including coordination across multiple time zones, integration with a newly implemented internal platform, management of more than 150 breakout sessions, and live support for thousands of delegates. At the same time, Siemens wanted to reduce international travel while still delivering an engaging and effective global learning experience.

Our Solution

As long-standing partners on the programme, we continued to act as an extension of the Siemens Digital Industries team. Delivering end-to-end project management, technical coordination, broadcast production, delegate management, and live event support across both phases.

For phase one, our team travelled to Rotterdam to manage three days of live broadcasting from a dedicated studio environment. The programme included executive plenary sessions, business updates, breakout training, interactive Q&A sessions and audience engagement tools such as Mentimeter integrations. All content was also recorded for long-term on-demand access.

Behind the scenes, the delivery required constant coordination between presenters, production teams, event teams, and global audiences. Teams simultaneously managed live broadcasts, virtual green rooms, session monitoring, delegate engagement, and platform troubleshooting across multiple regions.

The breakout programme scale added further complexity, with more than 150 sessions delivered across the event. This required extensive speaker onboarding, rehearsal scheduling, moderation support, plus content and technical management to ensure a seamless delegate experience.

Real-time Problem Solving

Flexibility became critical throughout delivery.

Before the event began, travel disruption, including cancelled trains and border delays, significantly impacted the team’s journey to Rotterdam. Despite compressed preparation time, the team continued finalising content remotely and worked extended hours on-site to keep the programme on track.

Ahead of the live broadcasts, Siemens introduced a new event platform for delegates. We quickly adapted beyond the original project scope, providing additional support for platform access, delegate communications, inbox management, live Q&A functionality, and evolving session information.

This proactive approach ensured uninterrupted access to critical training content throughout the event series.

Creating Regional Experiences at Global Scale

A key objective for Siemens was ensuring the programme felt regionally relevant while maintaining global consistency. The phased delivery model enabled content to be tailored specifically to local audiences, business functions, and training requirements.

Phase two focused on APAC and GDN audiences through a combination of live and pre-recorded content delivered from our UK studio. To align with APAC working hours, production schedules began as early as 1.30am, ensuring delegates could access sessions live within their own time zones.

The Impact

The CCSC hybrid broadcast series successfully delivered:

  • Two global event phases across multiple regions
  • Six live broadcast days
  • More than 4,700 virtual delegates
  • 150+ breakout and training sessions
  • Executive plenary broadcasts and on-demand learning content
  • Live audience engagement across multiple time zones

By combining live broadcasting with on-demand access, Siemens Digital Industries created a flexible and accessible learning experience while reducing the need for international travel and associated emissions.

Most importantly, the project demonstrated how strategic hybrid event delivery can balance engagement, accessibility, and sustainability at scale. Through agile problem-solving, technical expertise, and close partnership, we helped Siemens Digital Industries deliver a seamless global learning experience for teams worldwide.
